Amazon.com Product Description
Looking to improve your course management skills? Turn to the uPro golf GPS system, which employs state-of-the-art GPS, aerial, and satellite technology to accurately render the details of thousands of golf courses. The uPro starts by providing the avid golfer with aerial and satellite photographs of the golf course, so you can see what the hole looks like before you play it. At the same time, the unit's built-in GPS system clearly locates the golf course hazards and flagstick, so you know what you're up against at any moment. With each glance at the 2.2-inch, high-resolution color screen, you can see a different view of the fairway, check out the upcoming sand traps and water hazards, or receive a distance marker that helps you select the correct club length. Even more impressive, the uPro's SmartView technology anticipates the hazards that you'll face on your next shot, so you can plan accordingly based on the strengths of your game. Don't want to carry water on your second shot? The SmartView technology's dynamically generated "viewports" will tell you which area of the fairway or rough will provide a water-free path.
![]() The uPro offers aerial and satellite photographs of thousands of golf courses. |
![]() The easy-to-comprehend user-interface is crisp and intuitive. |
The uPro offers two basic modes for golf course downloads. In Basic mode, the uPro shows the distance to the front and back of all hazards and differentiates the type of hazards. Each hazard is automatically displayed in sequential order based on the current user position, and then is updated as the user moves throughout the hole. Basic mode also provides a green view, with large, easy-to-read numbers that depict the distance to the front, center, and back of the green. In Pro mode, meanwhile, the device offers a video flyover that lets the user see the layout of the hole from an aerial perspective. From the center of the green, users can see the 100-, 150-, and 200-yard markers. The Pro mode also offers scale-accurate measurements that are used to measure to and from any point on the golf course, even from the outskirts of the rough.
The uPro is compatible with Windows XP, Vista, and Mac OS X v10.4 or later (Windows 2000 is the oldest version of Windows that is compatible with the uPro). However, note that the uPro does not require any additional software to connect with the uPro servers. Instead, users can easily download golf courses at uPro's web site. Once you're online, the web site gives the user a list of all golf courses in the U.S.--in your choice of Basic or Pro mode--on a click-and-buy basis. The unit's GPS technology also automatically determines which courses are nearby. And as an add-on software download, the device can accept voice commands to make menu navigation virtually hands-free.
The uPro comes with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, a wall adapter, a USB cable, and a single free Pro mode download of any golf course. The device comes with a six-month warranty.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Can the SG2.5 give me the distance to the pin?
A: The SkyCaddie, using the IntelliGreen graphics found on our professionally recorded SkyCourses, provides more information than just the distance to the pin. Once the line of play is selected on the graphical green outline, it provides the minimum carry to get on the green, the maximum limit you have to the back of the green, plus you can adjust to obtain the third distance of the approximate flag location. All three distances are provided simultaneously from any direction as you approach the green. You can then frame your shot in a much larger target area and select the best club. You will hit more greens and have shorter putts than a single number can provide.

New Open Box Item Leupold GX-4 Pinhunter Golf Laser Rangefinder GX4. In perfect new condition.
The Leupold GX-4 Digital Golf Rangefinder offers a rugged aluminum body, a vivid OLED display and line-of-site measurement when the standard chrome faceplate is attached.
Snap on the included Smart Key faceplate and the GX-4 instantly becomes a coach, providing accurate ranging information that matches your personal striking distances to the slope of the shot and current atmospheric conditions, even suggesting which club to use. Pinhunter and Prism Lock: Every GX golf rangefinder has been precisely calibrated to fire a laser beam exactly at the target in the crosshairs. Hold the top button to scan the area around the pin, your GX will beep and the display will freeze the moment it identifies a prism-topped flag stick. Optical System: Leupold engineers combine precision glass, cutting edge coating technology and rugged structural components to create some of the most desired optical products on the market. The optical system in the GX golf rangefinders is built to the same exacting standards. The GX-4 sports a vivid red OLED display which is easy to read against any background and far superior to the standard LCD displays found in most golf rangefinders. Scan Mode: When you want multiple readings in one quick sweep, just hold down the power button on your GX-4 and the display will continuously update with accurate line-of-site measurements. Smart Key: The GX-4 is the only golf rangefinder available which converts from a simple line-of-site rangefinder to a full coaching tool with the switch of a faceplate. Amazon.com Product Description
Take your golf game to the next level with the Leupold GX-4 digital golf rangefinder, a high-end, two-faced rangefinder that measures the distance to the pin with precision accuracy. In its default configuration, the GX-4 is a straightforward laser rangefinder, with a rugged aluminum body, vivid OLED display, and meticulous line-of-sight measurement system. Snap on the included yellow Smart Key faceplate, however, and the GX-4 instantly becomes a coach, providing accurate ranging information that matches your personal striking distances to the slope of the shot and current atmospheric conditions. The GX-4 even suggests which clubs to use, helping you step onto the course with confidence. It's like having your own caddy on the fairway, but without the small talk.
PinHunter and Prism Lock
The GX-4's most elemental features are its PinHunter and Prism Lock functions. Every GX-4 golf rangefinder has been precisely calibrated to fire a laser beam at the target in the crosshairs, whether it's a flag, tree, or sand trap. The rangefinder then uses its proprietary beam geometry to gauge the returns from the pin, and its advanced GX software to accurately separate those returns from the objects in the background. There's no better way to determine exactly where a flag or water hazard is located. It's even easier to range a distance pin on courses that utilize prism technology thanks to the GX-4's Prism Lock. Simply hold the top button to scan the area around the pin. The moment the GX-4 identifies a prism-topped flagstick, the rangefinder will beep and the display will freeze. The PinHunter and Prism Lock features combine to make the GX-4 the most accurate golf rangefinder on the market.
![]() The GX-4's PinHunter function lasers precisely on a pin or other target. |
The GX-4 also includes a number of advanced features, accessible by switching the faceplate from chrome to yellow. The True Golf Range (TGR) feature, for example, uses sophisticated algorithmic-based software, temperature inputs, and altitude inputs to tell you exactly how far you should play a shot. If a golfer is hitting from the tee at a 30-degree slope above the green, the TGR will incorporate a golfer's hitting strength to calculate the best possible horizontal and vertical approach to the flag. Some golfers may be better served hitting a 6-iron, which will push the ball at a flatter trajectory and drop it down to the green sooner, while others would do better hitting a high 8-iron. The Club Selector takes the TGR function a step further by automatically recommending the appropriate club for each shot, and even indicating when the distance falls between clubs. Simply input the striking distance for three specific clubs and the GX-4 will do the rest. The TGR and Club Selector features offer a perfect way to get to know a course and improve your golf game. And if you're playing a competitive round with friends who demand an even playing field, simply snap the chrome faceplate back on and the GX-4 turns back into a traditional "no cheating" rangefinder.
The GX-4 also offers both Fog and Scan modes. Unlike most rangefinders--which give measurements from the first target returned, which in some cases is the fog between you and the pin--the GX-4 cuts through the weather to provide fast, accurate measurements to the green. You don't let anything stand between you and the cup, so why should your rangefinder? The Scan mode, meanwhile, delivers multiple readings in one quick sweep. Just hold down the Power button and the display will continuously update with accurate line-of-sight measurements.
Construction and Functionality
Leupold's products are legendary for their durability, with a ruggedly built housing and waterproof body. Fortunately for users, the optical system in the GX-4 is built to the same exacting standards, with precision glass, cutting-edge coating technology, and rugged structural components. The resulting optics are bright and clear, and offer accurate ranging, low glare, scratch resistance, and years of dependable use. On top of the optical precision, the GX-4 sports vivid red OLED displays, which are easy to read against any background and far superior to the standard LCD displays found in most golf rangefinders. Finally, the GX-4 offers an intuitive Quick Set Menu, giving you fast access to all the features of your rangefinder without cluttering the field of view. There's a reason the GX-4 is considered the top golf rangefinder on the market by critics.

Amazon.com Product Description
Golf is a game of precision, so why depend on ballpark guesses when estimating the distance to the green? Enter the Izzo Swami 1500, a fully featured golf GPS unit that offers everything you need to approach the pin with confidence. Powered by the latest SIRFStar III chip and equipped with Insta-Lok technology, the Swami instantly calculates the distance to the front, center, and back of the green on more than 19,000 courses across the U.S. and Canada, turning your golf game from piffling to precise. The Swami is easier to use and more accurate than a laser rangefinder. That's because the Swami measures distances without requiring a direct line of sight to the target, while a laser rangefinder can only measure to the flagstick or other defined objects within its sight. Plus, a rangefinder's accuracy is highly dependent on how far you are from the target, whereas the Swami's GPS technology is accurate to within a few feet. Most importantly, the Swami simply helps you play better golf. When you know the exact distance to the flag and the borders of the green, you can pick the right club for the distance and do it faster. No more wasting time searching for yardstick markers or sprinkler heads. Just upload the course from the online Swami Map Manager (subscription required) before your round, stand under an open sky, and the Swami's Insta-Lok technology does the rest, locking in the correct yardage to a target with minimal lag time. Even when riding in a cart, the yardage changes instantly.
The Swami stores up to 10 courses at a time and automatically recognizes the course you're playing upon powering up. The Swami is also a breeze to use, with intuitive buttons and a large display that allows you to quickly cycle from hole to hole. And even though the Swami is precise and user-friendly, it costs about half to a third as much as most other golf GPS systems. That's because Izzo streamlined the latest technology while maintaining only the most vital features in an effort to make the Swami more affordable. The navigator is built using the same state-of-the-art technology as the highest-end GPS units, but without the costly bells and whistles that most golfers don't really need or use.
The Swami is perfectly legal to use in many handicaps and tournaments, as both the USGA and the R&A have allowed the use of distance measuring devices when the local governing committee permits it. Users should always check with the local golf pro if the event is a USGA-sanctioned tournament before using the Swami on the course. Other features include an easy-to-use PC connection for downloads and charging; a rechargeable lithium battery that runs for a minimum of 12 hours per charge; a water-resistant housing; and OS compatibility with Windows 2000, XP, and Vista. The Swami 1500, which measures 3.75 by 1 by 2 inches (W x H x D), carries a 90-day warranty.

The Bushnell Yardage Pro allows you to store up to 10 golf courses at a time on one device. A membership to iGolf.com gives you access to the world's largest golf course database, allowing you to download up to 100 courses yearly, that all can be synced to your Yardage Pro through a simple USB connection. The Bushnell Yardage Pro offers you the birds eye view of the course so your play can be more deliberate, accurate, and successful.
Using Bushnell Yardage Pro Sync and the iGolf Database:
Bushnell and iGolf have partnered to provide Bushnell Yardage Pro users with the world's largest, most accurate database of GPS course files available. A free membership on iGolf.com enables you to track your handicap, catch up on golf headlines, and find reviews of your favorite course. A paid membership with a low one-year subscription fee allows you to download and save up to 100 GPS course files annually.
A one-year membership contract with iGolf allows you to download and save any available golf courses onto your computer to use with the Yardage Pro. Since all golf course files are stored on your computer you can easily swap course files on and off the Yardage Pro as needed. The currency of the information on the iGolf website is updated regularly with any renovations or changed holes so you have access to the most up to date information possible.
Locate golf courses on the iGolf database using a simple search tool--just enter one or two keywords within the course name to produce a list of results. An advanced search option is available to narrow results further as necessary. After you have located your golf course in the iGolf database, you will see the GPS Enabled area of the screen. The program will let you know if Front/Center/Back measurements, Custom Points with measurements for the hazards on the course, and Course Images for each individual green are available.
Transferring downloaded golf courses to your Yardage Pro from your PC is easy. Simply open the Bushnell Sync Application, connect the Yardage Pro to the USB port on the computer, and power up the unit.
